Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is the largest airport in Indiana and the 22nd largest airport in the United States. The airport is located seven miles southwest of downtown Indianapolis.

The airport opened in 1931 as Indianapolis Municipal Airport. In 1976, the airport was renamed Indianapolis International Airport. In 2008, the airport underwent a $1.1 billion expansion and renovation project.

IND Airport has two main passenger terminals, A and B, which are connected by a central concourse. The airport also has a cargo terminal and a general aviation terminal.
