Lambert–St. Louis International Airport (STL) is an international airport serving Greater St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It is about 14 miles northwest of downtown St. Louis in unincorporated St. Louis County between Berkeley and Bridgeton. The airport is operated by Lambert-St. Louis International Airport Authority. The airport is named after Albert Bond Lambert, who was the first licensed pilot in St. Louis and the president of Lambert Pharmacies.

Lambert–St. Louis International Airport was originally called Kinloch Field, which was named after the city of Kinloch, Missouri, where the airport was located. The first hangar at the airport was built in 1919 and was used by Lambert to store his planes.

In 1927, the City of St. Louis bought the airport from Lambert for $650,000 and renamed it Lambert–St. Louis Municipal Airport. The first paved runway was built in 1931.

Lambert–St. Louis International Airport (STL) was renamed Lambert–St. Louis International Airport in 1956. A new terminal building was built in 1960 and a new runway was built in 1966.

In 1971, the City of St. Louis sold the airport to the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport Authority for $1. The airport authority is a bi-state agency that is overseen by a board of commissioners from Missouri and Illinois.

STL airport is a hub for Air Canada, Southwest Airlines, and Spirit Airlines. The airport has over 250 daily departures to over 80 domestic and international locations. STL airport has two main passenger terminals, Concourse A and Concourse C, which are connected by an underground people mover. The airport also has two other concourses, Concourse B and Concourse D, which are used for international and cargo flights.

Lambert–St. Louis International Airport (STL) has a variety of amenities, including a food court, gift shops, and a business center. The airport also has a pet relief area for traveling animals.
