Nashville International Airport (BNA) is the primary airport serving Nashville and a hub for Allegiant Air, Delta Air Lines, and Southwest Airlines. BNA is located on 2,650 acres (1,062 ha) southeast of downtown Nashville in the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.

BNA opened in 1937 as Berry Field, named after Harry S. Berry, the owner and operator of Berry Brothers General Contractors, the largest construction company in Tennessee. The new facility replaced the smaller Hamilton Field, which had become Nashville’s first airport in 1926.

Today, BNA offers more than 500 daily flights to over 50 nonstop markets. The airport is served by 14 airlines and is a focus city for Allegiant Air, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and Spirit Airlines.
